Susanne, one of our dedicated shepherds, has won several sheep herding championships in recent years. Her passion, skill and dedication have led her to the top. She has reached the top with several dogs and with her dog Eryn, Susanne has even been European champion.
The story of the European sheep herding championship for Susanne Lejuez from Nijverdal is one out of a book. Together with her dog Eryn, she delivered an impressive performance in a leaden final on a hot day in North Holland.
After the competition, Susanne tells how tiring it was, but also how satisfied she feels. “It was very tough and very hot. Eryn was completely exhausted afterwards.“
